Community built around the joy of reading.

Making space for readers to slow down, connect, and get lost in a good book.

We believe reading deserves space in our lives, and it’s even better when shared.

We create intentional online and live spaces for book lovers to reconnect with their reading lives in ways that feel joyful, relaxing, and community-driven.

Whether it’s a cozy evening out, a quiet afternoon surrounded by fellow readers, or a shared story explored together, Book’d is about carving out time for books and for yourself.

Our gatherings celebrate reading in different ways. Sometimes that means bringing your current book and settling into quiet reading alongside other readers. Other times, it’s exploring the same story together and sharing the conversations that unfold along the way through book’d club .

However you like to experience books, Book’d offers a place to slow down, open a good story, and connect with people who love reading just as much as you do.

Club

Book’d hosts an online community book club where readers explore a shared story together. Through thoughtful discussion and conversation, members exchange perspectives, discover new books, and stay connected with the Book’d community between gatherings.

Parties

Our signature reading parties bring book lovers together in cozy cafés, bookstores, and welcoming spaces. Guests settle in with their current read, enjoy dedicated quiet reading time, and connect with fellow readers during relaxed social breaks.

It’s a simple idea: carve out time to read and share the experience with others who love books just as much as you do.

Getaways

Our weekend getaways are immersive reading experiences designed for readers who want to fully unplug and sink into their books. Set in beautiful locations, these gatherings combine quiet reading time with thoughtful experiences, good food, and meaningful connection with fellow readers.

Why We Gather to Read

We believe reading is one of the simplest forms of self-care, and one of the easiest ways to connect.

In a world that constantly asks for our attention, books offer a rare chance to slow down, focus, and step into another perspective. Sometimes that experience is quiet and personal, like settling in with a good book and a comfortable chair. Other times, it’s shared, discussing a story with fellow readers and discovering how differently a single book can be experienced.

Book’d creates space for both.

Whether you’re exploring the same story together through our book club or enjoying quiet reading time alongside others, the goal is the same: to celebrate the joy of reading and the community that grows around it.

The Book’d Community

At its heart, Book’d is about community.

It’s a place for readers who love books but don’t always have the time, space, or company to fully enjoy them. Our gatherings bring together people who share that same quiet joy—turning solitary reading into a shared experience.

Whether you come alone or with friends, you’ll find a welcoming group of people who understand the simple happiness of getting lost in a good book.

Meet the Founders

Book’d was created by Atiyeh and Mel, two readers who believe books are even better when they’re shared.

For both of them, reading has always been more than a hobby—it’s a source of comfort, curiosity, and connection. While their reading journeys look a little different, they share the same love of stories and the conversations that follow.

Atiyeh has been a passionate reader for as long as she can remember. Books have always been a natural part of her life, and she reads widely across genres, especially novels, business, and psychology. For her, reading is a lifelong source of growth and inspiration, and she loves helping others discover books that spark the same joy.

Mel discovered her love of reading later in life, but once the reading bug hit, it stuck. With a soft spot for fantasy, paranormal, and sci-fi (and a growing collection of special edition books), she quickly found herself wanting more people to share great reads with and talk about the stories that stayed with her long after the final page.

Together, they created Book’d to bring readers together in cozy, welcoming spaces where people can read, connect, and share their love of books.

No pressure, just pages.
