Welcome to Book'd Club ("Book'd Club", "we", "our", or "us"). By purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Book’d Club is a trade name of Book’d Events Ltd.

1. Membership

Book'd Club is a monthly online book club membership designed to provide readers with access to book discussions, community engagement opportunities, and other membership benefits.

Membership benefits may evolve over time and are subject to change.

2. Membership Fees & Billing

Membership is billed at the rate displayed at the time of registration.

Membership fees are charged on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. Membership fees are non-refundable.

By subscribing, you authorize Book'd Club to charge your selected payment by credit card method for all applicable membership fees.

Members shall be given 30 days written notice on any changes in fees. 

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Members may cancel their membership at any time through their account settings or by e-mailing us at info@bookdevents.com.

Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

When a membership is cancelled, access to membership benefits will continue until the end of the current billing period.

No partial refunds will be issued for:

• Unused membership time

• Missed discussions sessions

• Failure to participate in membership activities

4. Community Expectations

Book'd Club is committed to maintaining a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment.

Members agree to:

• Treat fellow members with kindness and respect.

• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, bullying, or disruptive behaviour.

• Respect differing opinions during discussions.

Book'd Club reserves the right to remove any member who violates these guidelines.

5. Membership Benefits

Membership benefits may include:

• Virtual book discussions

• Community engagement opportunities

• Exclusive member resources

• Special events or member perks

Specific offerings may vary from month to month.

6. Program Changes

Book'd Club reserves the right to modify:

• Book selections

• Discussion dates and times

• Facilitators

• Membership benefits

• Community platforms

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes in advance.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials created and distributed by Book'd Club, including discussion questions, graphics, recordings, and written content, remain the property of Book'd Club unless otherwise stated.

These materials are provided for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, sold, or shared without written permission.

8. Virtual Events

Members are responsible for ensuring they have adequate internet access and technology to participate in virtual events. Virtual events will normally be conducted on the Zoom platform.

Book'd Club is not responsible for interruptions caused by internet outages, software failures, or other technical issues beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

Book'd Club provides educational, informational, and community-based experiences only.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Book'd Club shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in the membership or use of any related services.

10. Termination

Book'd Club may suspend or terminate a membership if a member:

• Violates these Terms & Conditions;

• Engages in abusive or disruptive conduct;

• Misuses community resources.

Termination due to misconduct does not entitle the member to a refund.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
